Made with a unique combination of cellulose applied to a special paper, Fibrous casings are designed for added strength to resist breakage during stuffing and processing. Fibrous casings are moisture and smoke permeable, ideal for products such as salami, summer sausage, venison sausage and pepperoni. All Fibrous casings are pre-stuck to facilitate stuffing and processing. These casings are available in clear or rich mahogany color.
Use and Care
Handling: Keep away from heat, flame, sparks and other ignition sources. Any unused casings should be closed tightly in a plastic bag to prevent drying out.
Storage: Fibrous Casings should be stored in a cool, dry location at 40°F -70°F. Likewise, any casing that is left over to be used at a later time should be resealed to retain proper moisture levels. The casings are best if used within 2 years from the delivery date.
Usage Information: Prior to stuffing casings require soaking in room temperature water for a minimum of 20 minutes. Fibrous casings can be processed in an oven or smokehouse.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, undamaged, unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the order number and the email addressed or phone number used to place the order.
